Oak Park, IL · Direct hire · $60,000 - $75,000
About the Opportunity:
Are you a dynamic marketing professional who thrives on variety, moves fast, and loves wearing multiple hats?
We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Content Manager to drive growth and content strategy across a diverse portfolio of brands: CDO Group (a premier commercial construction management firm), The Future Factory Podcast, and Jobrilis (Construction Tech).
This is not your average corporate marketing job. One day you’ll be managing high-level B2B corporate content, and the next you’ll be booking high-profile podcast guests and cutting engaging social clips.
If you are an entrepreneurial marketer with a mix of corporate strategy, media production, and social media savvy, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Future Factory Podcast (Core Focus ~50%)
Guest Acquisition & Booking: Identify, pitch, and secure high-caliber guests aligned with the podcast's vision.
Pre-Show Interviews & Research: Conduct pre-show screening interviews, brief guests on show formats, and prepare comprehensive research/talking points for the host.
Content Management & Distribution: Manage the post-production workflow. Oversee the creation of show notes, timestamps, and multi-platform promotional schedules.
Audience Growth: Execute strategies to grow listenership/viewership across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and dedicated email lists.
2. Multi-Brand Social Media & Digital Marketing (~50%)
Cross-Company Social Strategy: Own the organic and paid social media calendars for CDO Group, Future Factory, and Jobrilis across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
Content Repurposing: Take long-form content (like podcast episodes or corporate milestones) and slice them into high-performing short-form assets (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn carousels, text posts).
Brand Consistency: Maintain the distinct voice, tone, and visual guidelines for each individual brand.
Analytics & Reporting: Track engagement metrics across all channels to continuously optimize what works.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 3–5+ years of professional marketing experience, ideally managing multiple brands, working in an agency environment, or operating as a modern content creator.
Podcast/Media Production Savvy: Proven experience booking guests, managing production pipelines, or working within the digital media/podcast space.
Social Media Mastery: Deep understanding of current algorithms, trends, and growth strategies for LinkedIn (B2B) and short-form video platforms (TikTok/Reels/Shorts).
Project Management Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, switch context smoothly between brands, and hit deadlines without hand-holding.
Tech Stack: Familiarity with modern marketing tools (e.g., Riverside/Descript, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, Buffer/Hootsuite, Smartsheet/Asana, and CRM/Email marketing platforms).
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—you’ll be the frontline representative pitching to podcast guests and corporate clients.
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation (Base + performance incentives if applicable).
Highly flexible, autonomous working environment.
Direct access to leadership and the opportunity to shape the voice of three rapidly growing brands.
How to Apply:
Please email brandon@lastlightsearch.com your resume along with a portfolio or links to social media channels/content you have actively managed (bonus points for sharing a podcast or video campaign you helped scale). In your cover letter, tell us how you stay organized when managing multiple competing priorities.
