We are searching for an experienced multi-site retail Construction Project Manager.
We specialize in Restaurant and Retail, new construction and remodel programs for our national clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the adherence and production of construction schedules from the conceptual phase to the construction phase
Evaluate project cost working with estimators to prepare budget outlining both hard and soft costs
Manage day to day activities with Superintendents
Assist in securing building permits and contractor licenses
Manage vendors/getting materials to job site
Participate in weekly meetings with the Project Team
Communicate with Architect, Owner and/or Program Manager on all project issues
Negotiate contracts with owners/subcontractors
Read blueprints and schematics
Ensure safety protocols are in place for every project
Manage change orders
Generating and gaining approvals
Assist accounting with pay applications
Manage the project close out process to facilitate timely release of retention
Knowledge, Experience and Special Skills Required:
A minimum of at least five (5) years of experience in managing Restaurant and Retail construction projects. Tenant Improvement and Ground ups.
Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred or comparable experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Experience managing multiple simultaneous construction projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Project
Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks projects and demands
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Passionate and dedicated to high-quality work
Trustworthy, self-motivated and independent worker, with team-orientation
Drug screening and background check required
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position and a $100,000-$140,000 salary will be offered that is commensurate with the Ideal Candidate’s experience.
